GARNERING ITS NAME FROM THE WAY IN WHICH THE SPIRE SHAPE APPEARS TO BE RIDING THE FLOOR PIECE, THE HORSEMAN IS SEEN AS A BENCH – ALBEIT A SCULPTURAL IDEA OF ONE – COMPLETE WITH A FLAP DOWN DESK AND OTHER COMPARTMENTS TO HOUSE THE THINGS THAT ARE PRECIOUS TO YOU
It is cut from Beech, then hand-shaped with custom designed hinge mechanisms and internal elements, then hand-shaped and finished with a hand-painted geometric patterns wrapping around the cabinet.
Part of the Kassena Town series originally inspired by the hand-painted homes of the Kassena people from northern Ghana.
