THE LIBRARY OF THINGS WE FORGOT TO REMEMBER
It was a pleasure to work with long time friend and collaborator artist Kudzanai Chiurai on the furniture for he latest project, The Library of Things We Forgot to Remember, at 44 Stanley Avenue.
The Library is an interactive audio-visual archive of black resistance. It was founded in 2017 by Chiurai, and includes his extensive vinyl record collection of music related to different liberation movements in southern Africa from the 1970s-80s. The library also exhibits posters and pamphlets produced in the 1970s-80s, in support of Zimbabwe's independence struggle.
